Kyiv Theological Schools Begin Accepting Documents for the New Academic Year
Archbishop Silvester of Belgorod blessed the launch of the admission campaign at KDAiS for the 2026-2027 academic year.
Kyiv Theological Academy and Seminary announced the beginning of document acceptance for applicants. The rector of KTAaS, Archbishop Sylvester of Belgorod, blessed the start of student enrollment for full-time and correspondence departments. This is reported by the press service of KTAaS.
The admissions committee accepts applications from those wishing to receive theological education until August 1, 2026. The entrance examinations themselves, by decision of the Academic Council of Kyiv Theological Schools, will take place from August 3 to 6.
Kyiv Theological Academy prepares clergy and specialists in the field of theological science for the needs of the UOC. Master's degree studies last two years. The Academy admits Orthodox men under the age of 35 who have graduated from seminary without C grades. The theological school graduates masters and candidates of theology in the specialty of Orthodox theology.
Kyiv Theological Seminary implements a four-year standard of theological education for training future pastors. The educational institution admits Orthodox men with complete secondary education for studies. Seminary graduates receive a bachelor's degree and the right to ordination to holy orders.
Applicants submit documents in person at the Academic building in Kyiv or use online mode through email. The admissions committee opened special addresses for letters from those applying to full-time and correspondence sectors. All admission rules and the list of necessary documents were posted by the school administration in the section for applicants on the official website.
