In Radivilov, believers of the UOC held a traditional procession for peace

A prayer procession was accompanied by icons with relics of great Orthodox saints.

Believers of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church held their annual procession in Radyvyliv on June 2, 2026. The participants began their journey from the church of Saint Prince Alexander Nevsky after the completion of the early Liturgy with a cathedral prayer for peace in Ukraine. This was reported by the website of the Rivne Diocese.

The column of pilgrims visited the community of Balky village where the clergy performed a prayer service to Archangel Michael at the veneration Cross. Then the believers prayed in the churches of Saint Amphilochius of Pochaev and the Presentation of the Most Holy Theotokos, and completed their prayer journey at the Alexander Nevsky church.

Throughout the entire path, believers knelt while icons with relics of Saint Alexander Nevsky and Great Martyr Panteleimon, as well as Saints Job and Amphilochius of Pochaev, were carried above them.

The pilgrims paid special attention to the infirm and sick residents of the city. Participants visited people who remained at home due to their health condition to give them the opportunity to venerate the holy relics and receive anointing with holy oil. During the prayer, light rain began to fall, which the believers perceived as a special divine blessing for all who prayed for their homeland.

As SPJ reported, in Kozelshchansk, UOC believers held a procession with an icon of the Theotokos.
