UGCC calls murder of TRC employee "particularly grave sin"
UGCC cleric Yustin Boyko emphasized that hatred against TRC employees is being artificially incited on social media.
On April 2, 2026, a cleric of the UGCC Justyn Boyko commented on the murder of a TCC employee that occurred in Lviv that day. According to Boyko, there are already many such cases in Ukraine, and they require a church response.
Boyko emphasizes that murder itself is a grave sin, but the murder of a TRC employee, according to him, is "a particularly grave sin" because the country is currently at war and every person is beyond price.
According to Boyko, the cause of this and other murders of TRC workers is hatred that is artificially incited on social media. He believes that behind such an information campaign "very often stand not only real people, but also bots." And if real people are behind it, then they have an unhealthy psyche.
Boyko acknowledged that there are "various abuses" on the part of the TRC, but they need to be resolved "through some civilized means." The UGCC cleric called on Ukrainians not to incite hatred toward the TRC on social media, because this "will lead to some civil conflicts, God fordids".
Earlier, the UOJ wrote that, according to Boyko, faith in God turns draft dodgers into excellent soldiers.
