The parish has been celebrating the Nativity of Christ outside its church building for the second year in a row.

In the village of Kruty in Chernihiv region, the Archangel Michael community of the UOC has marked the feast of the Nativity of Christ in a makeshift space for the second year. The Nizhyn Eparchy press service reported this.

The believers’ church was seized back in December 2023. The rector, together with parishioners, arranged a temporary house chapel in the courtyard of one of the village homes, and they hold services there.

The religious community prayed at the festive Divine Liturgy, after which the young parishioners glorified the Newborn Christ with carols and a performance. The youngest received sweet gifts.

As the UOJ reported, Metropolitan Clement prayed together with the dissolved community in Kruty.
