OCU cleric who moved to UOC-KP has his church taken away by Dumenko's order
Dumenko ordered the requisition of the Theophany Chapel in Kyiv, where Yaroslav Yasenets served.
Former cleric of the OCU Yaroslav Yasenets, who announced his transition to the UOC-KP, had the Theophany Chapel in Kyiv where he served as a rector taken away.
"To avoid bloodshed and a massacre among the Orthodox, I decided not to start a war. With the new OCU priest and his people, we managed to reach an agreement on favorable terms: I take all the church utensils gifted to me, and they, in turn, help find a place for services in a better location," wrote the former OCU cleric.
According to him, his community will continue services elsewhere.
"Epifaniy once again confirmed his reputation as a raider, who now not only 'fights with the Russian Church' but also seizes temples from another Ukrainian Church – the Kyiv Patriarchate," wrote Yasenets.
Earlier, the UOJ reported that, according to Yasenets, even those who do not know the Creed are ordained in the OCU.
