Yaroslava Mishchenko stated that there are examples of “dozens of wonderful transitions” into the OCU.

One of the media figures closest to the OCU leadership, Yaroslava Mishchenko (who also calls herself Samokhvalova), speaking at a Media Center Ukraine event titled “(Un)Holy War: How the Moscow Patriarchate Supports Kremlin Agents in Ukraine,” commented on the alleged “guilt” of Metropolitan Arseniy before Ukraine.

According to her, she follows Russian media outlets that, among other things, cover the court proceedings involving Metropolitan Arsenii of Sviatohirsk. “It is known that Metropolitan Arsenii’s guilt before Ukraine is colossal,” Mishchenko declared, sarcastically referring to him as a “sufferer.”

“Why did this ‘sufferer’ not choose his politically congenial homeland? Why didn’t he choose Russia, if it is so close to him? Simply because, like all of them, they want to be the material – they want to be those operators or theatrical objects of persecution,” Mishchenko stressed.

She complained that UOC media cover conflicts at church seizures, which, she insists, are “provoked by Moscow.” At the same time, she claimed that the UOC “fails to notice dozens, hundreds of wonderful transitions.”

“Well, sometimes these transitions are accompanied by some conflicts, some tense situations. Well, it happens – because in the end it is provoked by Moscow. And this is blown out of proportion in every moment where there is even the slightest conflict,” Mishchenko said.

At the same time, she insisted that the OCU is ready to treat UOC believers “with love,” but only on the condition that “the dialogue is productive” and the state completes the process of liquidating the Church.

Earlier, the UOJ reported that, according to Mishchenko, the world would certainly be “better and safer” without UOC parishioners.
