Volodymyr-Volyn Eparchy collects 5 tons of aid for Kherson region residents

The faithful of the Volodymyr-Volyn Eparchy gathered food, hygiene products, and household supplies for residents of the Kherson region affected by the war.
On October 17, 2024, with the blessing of Metropolitan Volodymyr of Volodymyr-Volyn and Kovel, the clergy and parishioners of the Krymne deanery organized the collection and delivery of humanitarian aid for those suffering in the Kherson region.
The charitable shipment, weighing about five tons, included foodstuffs (vegetables, canned goods, grains, sugar, oil, sweets), personal hygiene items, and household chemicals.
The collected aid was delivered to humanitarian centers in the city of Kovel. From there, priest-volunteers will transport the donations to the most needy residents of the Kherson region, who continue to suffer from the consequences of hostilities.
Earlier, the UOJ reported that 27 tons of humanitarian aid had been sent from the Chernivtsi Eparchy to the Donbas.
