The eparchy expresses gratitude to everyone who joined the good cause.

On October 16, 2025, the Rivne Eparchy of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church collected another batch of humanitarian aid for the brethren and victims at the Sviatohirsk Holy Dormition Lavra, the eparchy’s press service reported.

Faithful from the Rivne Central, Southern, and Northern deaneries actively participated in the campaign. Through their joint efforts, more than 20 tons of food, essential goods, and household supplies were gathered.

The collected aid will soon be delivered to the Sviatohirsk Lavra. The truck for transporting the humanitarian cargo was funded by Member of Parliament Yuriy Boyko.

The eparchy expressed heartfelt thanks to all who took part in this good work – parish rectors, benefactors, and laypeople who donated food and necessary items.

“Such deeds are a vivid testimony of living love for one’s neighbor and of true Christian service,” the statement reads.

Earlier, the UOJ reported that priests of the UOC’s Social Department delivered another shipment of aid to the Sviatohirsk Lavra.
