In Volyn, OCU "hierarch" greeted by brass band before service

In Metelne, after the seizure of the Intercession Church, Mykhailo Zinkevych was greeted with the sounds of the march "Oh, the Red Viburnum in the Meadow Has Bent Down".
A video of the "archbishop's entrance" of the Volyn "metropolitan" of the OCU, Mykhailo Zinkevych, in the village of Metelne is gaining popularity online. The "hierarch" approached the church not to the traditional bell ringing but to the sounds of a brass band playing the march of the Sich Riflemen "Oh, the Red Viburnum in the Meadow Has Bent Down".
The orchestra consisted of a large and small drum, a trumpet, and two French horns. Approaching the orchestra, Zinkevych blessed the musicians, but they played to the end.
The Intercession Church in Metelne was taken from the community in 2024. Now the faithful of the UOC are praying in a house. Their patronal feast on October 14, 2025, was celebrated by parishioners on the street, as the current premises cannot accommodate all the worshippers.

Earlier, UOJ wrote that, according to Zinkevych, those who celebrate Christmas according to the Julian calendar are "not with Ukraine".
