Court starts proceedings in UOJ's lawsuit to lift Ukrainian website ban

The Kyiv District Administrative Court has initiated a simplified proceeding regarding the recognition of the order on blocking as illegal.
On October 1, 2025, the Kyiv District Administrative Court initiated proceedings in the administrative case No. 320/48298/25, filed by TEAM OF THE ORTHODOX JOURNALISTS (TOJ) LTD against the National Center for Operational and Technical Management of Electronic Communication Networks of Ukraine.
The judge accepted the lawsuit for consideration regarding the recognition of the order to block as unlawful and its cancellation. According to the court's ruling, the case will be considered in a simplified procedure without a court hearing, based on the materials available in the case.
Recall that the Ukrainian site of the Union of Orthodox Journalists was blocked for the fifth time (!) in Ukraine following the SBU's demand. Access to the resource is now only possible through VPN. Also, in Ukraine, the sites of the Bulgarian and American branches of the UOJ are blocked.
Earlier, the UOJ reported that the court opened a case on the UOJ's lawsuit against the authorities regarding the blocking of the site in Bulgaria.
