Two dead in Kostiantynivka due to shelling of UOC church

Four others were injured, including one woman who suffered traumatic arm amputation
On October 11, 2025, as a result of the shelling of the UOC Church of Job of Pochaiv by the Russian Federation, two men were killed, and four people were injured, according to police reports.
Law enforcement officers stated that at the site of the shelling, they found a two-year-old boy.
Authorities also found a two-year-old child at the scene of the attack. The child was with his father, a priest, in the burning city. The child's mother had been killed in a previous enemy strike the week before.
It remains unclear why the child was alone or whether his father survived.
The church suffered significant damage, with the central dome collapsing and the altar area affected, as reported by the Pokrovsk Vicariate.
Earlier, the UOJ wrote that Daria Kovalkova, the wife of UOC priest Serhiy Kovalkov, was killed in Kostiantynivka due to the shelling attack.
