Priests of UOC social department deliver aid to Sviatohirsk Lavra

Fathers Kostiantyn and Andriy Dvorovys also delivered food to the residents of nearby villages and towns.
On September 30, 2025, priests of the UOC Synodal Department for Social and Humanitarian Issues delivered food, fruit, sweets, and hygiene supplies to the Sviatohirsk Lavra and civilians in Sloviansk and Kramatorsk, reports the press service of the Sviatohirsk Monastery.
The deputy head of the department, Archpriest Kostiantyn Dvorovy, and the head of the Social Service Department of the Kyiv Eparchy, Archpriest Andriy Dvorovy, also delivered humanitarian aid to the Skete of St John of Shanghai in the village of Adamivka, the Serhiivka Monastery in Serhiivka, and civilians of Sloviansk and Kramatorsk.
In the Lavra, a replica of the icon of the Mother of God "Sviatohirsk" with images of Saint John of Shanghai and Venerable John the Recluse was also consecrated for the volunteer priests. The service was led by Archimandrite Lazar (Tereschenko), concelebrated by Fathers Kostiantyn and Andriy. After the consecration, the icon was placed next to the miraculous image and the relics of the Sviatohirsk ascetics.
"The Sviatohirsk Lavra has long been a place of rest for volunteers helping peaceful residents who found themselves in the frontline zone. Here they are provided with shelter, food, and surrounded by the simple warmth of human hearts. Having received a 'charge of goodness' in the Holy Mountains, the volunteers continue their mission. They also rest in the Lavra on their way back," the message says.
As reported by the UOJ, Metropolitan Arseniy requires heart surgery.
