At St Sophia's Cathedral in Kyiv, worshippers organized a teleconference with Poland.

On September 11, 2025, an interfaith religious event took place at St. Sophia's Cathedral in Kyiv with the participation of UCCRO members: the Grand Mufti of Crimea Aider Rustemov, Maronite Bishop Munir Khairallah, the OCU spokesperson Ivan Zoria, representatives of the RCC, UGCC, and Protestants.

The event participants, standing in front of the iconostasis of the cathedral, prayed for peace in Ukraine. Simultaneously, a similar action was held at the primate basilica of the RCC in Gniezno (Poland). The basilica and St. Sophia Cathedral were connected via teleconference.

At the conclusion of the event, the mufti and his colleagues recited the prayer "Our Father".

Earlier, the UOJ reported that Zelensky prayed at St. Sophia's with the mufti, OCU, Catholics, and Protestants.
