U.S. Senator: If America pulls the plug on Israel, God will pull the plug on us

Lindsey Graham urged Republicans not to cut aid to Israel, citing Christian beliefs.
U.S. Senator from South Carolina Lindsey Graham issued a warning to Republicans who advocate for reducing aid to Israel. According to him, withdrawing support for the Jewish state could lead to God turning away from America, reports UOJ in America.
"This is not a hard choice if you're an American. It's not a hard choice if you're a Christian. A word of warning: If America pulls the plug on Israel, God will pull the plug on us," Graham stated during a recent speech in Columbia, South Carolina.
The senator emphasized the religious aspect of U.S.-Israel relations, urging his fellow Republicans to view support for Israel as a Christian duty. Graham identifies as a Christian and regularly references biblical principles in his political statements.
The senator also expressed confidence that President Donald Trump shares his stance on supporting Israel. "When it comes to foreign policy, Pres. Trump has stood up for all the right things and he stood up against all the wrong things. Just like Reagan," he said.
Earlier, UOJ wrote that, according to UOC lawyer Robert Amsterdam, one phone call from Trump can end the trauma of UOC persecution.
