24 UOC parish choirs perform hymn honoring the Mother of God

Faithful from various UOC eparchies in Ukraine and abroad, as well as the choir of the Kyiv Theological Academy, took part in the production of the video “They Run to Pochaiv.”
To mark the 350th anniversary of the miraculous deliverance of the Pochaiv Monastery by the Most Holy Theotokos from the Turks and Tatars in 1675, 24 parish choirs of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church recorded the hymn “They Run to Pochaiv.” The video was published on the Svoi YouTube channel.
“This video is a prayerful thanksgiving to the Most Holy Mother of God for Her protection and constant care over our people. May this song touch the heart of everyone who hears it and remind us that in our most difficult moments, we are not alone – She is near,” the video description says.
The hymn was performed by choirs from Pochaiv, as well as from the Chernivtsi, Rivne, Volyn, Ternopil, Ivano-Frankivsk, Dnipropetrovsk, and Zakarpattia regions, from the Kyiv Theological Schools, and from UOC parishes in France and Iceland.
As previously reported by the UOJ, thousands of UOC faithful gathered at Pochaiv Lavra to venerate the wonderworking icon of the Mother of God.
