Odesa Iconography School announces student enrollment
At the Odesa Seminary, there is an iconography school alongside the theological, choir-conducting, and gold embroidery departments.
The Odesa Iconography School, operating at the Archangel Michael Monastery in Odesa, has announced the start of its application period.
At the school named after Nun Taisia, students are trained in icon painting, mosaic, mural painting, and restoration. Applications are accepted until August 15, 2025. The head of the iconography department is Nun Daniila, who can be reached at +380 96 296 38 68.
Classes are held on the monastery grounds, and all students are provided with accommodation. Admission requires passing a creative entrance exam.
Earlier, the UOJ reported that future iconographers of the UOC defended their diplomas in Kamianets-Podilskyi.
