Believers' expulsion from Dormition Cathedral of UOC in Volodymyr postponed

The court will consider another appeal in the case.
A representative of the religious community of the Dormition Cathedral in Volodymyr filed an appeal in court due to the fact that the decision to evict the UOC parish violates his personal rights. The appeal suspends the decision of the Economic Court of the Volyn region regarding the mandatory vacating of the premises until May 29, reports the local resource "BUG".
This means that the State Executive Service cannot initiate the procedure of expelling the faithful from their shrine.
"On May 27, the North-Western Appellate Economic Court in Rivne opened appellate proceedings based on the statement of a person who was not involved in case No. 903/693/24 but claimed a violation of their rights," writes the publication.
The appeal has been accepted, and a new hearing is scheduled for June 19 in the North-Western Appellate Economic Court. Until that time, the court decision on the eviction of the UOC community from the Dormition Cathedral cannot be enforced.
As reported by the UOJ, earlier the court ruled that by May 29, the community of the Dormition Cathedral in Volodymyr must leave the temple complex.
