During the luncheon following the inauguration, Cardinal Kurt Koch warmly greeted the representatives of the OCU.

A delegation from the Orthodox Church of Ukraine (OCU), represented by Ivan (Yevstratiy) Zoria and Kyprian Lozynskyi, attended the Mass during the inauguration of Pope Leo, as reported by Zoria on Facebook.

After the Mass, Zoria and Lozynskyi had lunch in the official dining hall of Paul VI.

“During the meal, the head of the Dicastery, Cardinal Kurt Koch, warmly greeted the OCU delegation, conveyed his regards to His Beatitude Metropolitan Epifaniy, and assured them of his prayers for Ukraine and peace for its people,” Zoria wrote.

Earlier, the UOJ reported that, according to the Vatican press service, representatives of Judaism, Islam, Hinduism, Buddhism, Sikhism, Zoroastrianism, and Jainism also attended the inauguration of Pope Leo.
