ROCOR nun delivers a lecture for OCU

Member of the ROC Inter-Council Presence, Vassa Larin, spoke to Zoria and other members of the OCU about the distortion of truth in the era of post-truth.
On May 9, 2025, a lecture titled 'Freedom and Peace in the Era of Post-Truth' was held at the Kyiv Theological Academy of the OCU, delivered by ROCOR nun and member of the ROC Inter-Council Presence, Vassa Larin, according to the Academy's Facebook page.
The announcement stated that Larin came to deliver the lecture at the invitation of the OCU.
According to Dumenko's representatives, during her speech, the ROCOR nun “analyzed how the terms ‘freedom’ and ‘peace’ are used in manipulative strategies of Russian propaganda, particularly to influence Western audiences. She pointed out the distortion of these concepts during the post-truth era, when information often loses its connection to reality.”
The lecture was conducted in Russian. On her Facebook page, Larin thanked Yevstratiy Zoria “for the hospitality.”
Earlier, the UOJ reported that the OCU abandoned the observance of Radonitsa because it “came from the Russian calendar.”
