The faithful are invited to take part in the celebrations on May 4.

A documentary film dedicated to the history of the UOC women's monastery of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary in the village of Lypcha, Zakarpattia, was created for the 100th anniversary of the nunnery. The half-hour film is published on the YouTube channel of the Khust Eparchy.

The film shows the main stages of the nunnery's development and the spiritual life of the nuns, featuring their memories and a story about the present-day life of the monastery.

"The film aims to convey to the viewers the spirit of prayer, self-sacrifice, and love for God, which have been cherished within these walls for a century," comments the eparchy.

A festive liturgy will be held at the monastery on Sunday, May 4, 2025. On this day, there will also be spiritual communication between the clergy and the sisterhood, as well as the guests of the nunnery, which invites all the faithful to visit the holy site on the day of the celebration.
