Kyiv authorities declare day of mourning for missile strike victims

A Day of Mourning will be held on April 25.
On Bright Friday, April 25, 2025, a day of mourning has been declared in Kyiv to honor those who perished in the missile strike on the capital during the night of April 24. The announcement was made by Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko via Telegram.
“In memory of the victims of the enemy’s massive assault on the capital,” Klitschko wrote.
According to officials, 9 people were killed in the missile attack, and dozens more were injured. Several residential buildings in various districts of the city were either partially or completely destroyed.
Earlier, the UOJ reported that in his latest address, Pope Francis called for peace in Ukraine.
