OCU urges Ukrainians to celebrate Easter online

The Zaporizhzhya Eparchy of the OCU is concerned about the safety of Ukrainians and therefore encourages Ukrainians to watch the Easter service online.
The Zaporizhzhia "bishop" of the OCU, Photiy, urged residents of Zaporizhzhia and the region to stay home for Easter for safety reasons, as reported by "Ukrinform".
"The Orthodox Church of Ukraine, Zaporizhzhia Eparchy, calls for joining the Easter service online. Only those who wish to receive communion on that day may come to the church," Photiy said.
He added that many churches are conducting online broadcasts through social networks.
"During the service, which will begin at 7:00 AM on April 20, the duty priest will be outside and will continuously bless the Easter offerings to avoid crowding," Photiy noted.
