Korsun-Shevchenkivskyi believers praying outside seized church for 9 months

Despite threats, attacks, and harsh weather conditions, dozens of Christians continue to pray outside the church seized by the OCU.
On March 1, dozens of parishioners of the seized Church of the Holy Mandylion of the UOC in Korsun-Shevchenkivskyi gathered in prayer near their sacred place. In the freezing cold, under the open sky, the faithful continue their prayerful stand.
It will soon be a year since a group of OCU raiders and hired militants in balaclavas forcibly seized the church. For almost a year, Orthodox Christians have remained steadfast in their faith, gathering every Saturday and before major religious feasts outside the walls of their church.
Despite threats, attacks, and difficult weather conditions, dozens of believers persist in their prayers. Meanwhile, the seized church remains almost empty.
Earlier, it was reported that a UOC hierarch supported the community in Korsun-Shevchenkivskyi after an act of vandalism.
