UOC holds a remote meeting of the Holy Synod

The meeting of the Holy Synod of the UOC was chaired by His Beatitude Metropolitan Onuphry.

On November 16, 2021, a regular meeting of the Holy Synod of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church was held at the residence of the Primate on the territory of the Holy Dormition Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra, according to the Information and Education Department of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church.

The meeting was held in a remote format chaired by His Beatitude Metropolitan Onuphry of Kyiv and All Ukraine.

Permanent members of the Holy Synod of the UOC: Metropolitan Agafangel of Odessa and Izmail, Metropolitan Lazar of Simferopol and Crimea, Metropolitan Mark of Khust and Vynohradov, Metropolitan Meletiy of Chernivtsi and Bukovyna, Metropolitan Hilarion of Donetsk and Mariupol, Metropolitan Theodore of Kamyanets-Podilsky and Horodok, Metropolitan Pavel of Chornobyl and Vyshhorod, Metropolitan Anthony of Boryspil and Brovary, Secretary of the Holy Synod of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church and Chancellor of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church.

Temporary members of the Holy Synod of the UOC: Metropolitan Anthony of Khmelnytsky and Starokostiantyniv, Archbishop Alexy of Voznesensk and Pervomaisk, and Archbishop Eusebiy of Shepetivka and Slavutych.

During the work of the Synod, the hierarchs of the UOC addressed topical issues of the life of the Church. The decisions will be published later.
