After the service, Metropolitan Anatoly thanked the parishioners for their faithfulness to their faith and their labors in building the new church.

On November 22, Metropolitan Anatoly of Poliske and Sarny consecrated a new church of Archangel Michael (UOC) in the village of Poliske in the Rivne region, reports the press service of the Sarny Eparchy.

During the consecration ceremony and the first Divine Liturgy in the church, the hierarch was conselebrated by the dean and clergy of the Berezne church district, the rector of St. Michael's Church, Archpriest Stefan Korolchuk, as well as the acting abbot of the Intercession Monastery in the village of Khotyn, Archimandrite Makary (Kolomiets).

By the blessing of His Beatitude Metropolitan Onuphry, the archbishop granted the rector of the Michael's parish the right to wear a second cross with decorations for his efforts in the church construction.

After the service, Metropolitan Anatoly thanked the parishioners who remained faithful to the faith of their forefathers and made efforts to build the new church. According to the archbishop, the church will become an adornment of the village and the entire Polissia region.

As reported by the UOJ, a new UOC church was consecrated in Kostopil in the Rivne region.
