Tkachenko: Lavra was closed to Ukrainians for a very long time

The Minister of Culture stated he had filled the Lavra with the Ukrainian concept laid down by its creators.
Minister of Culture Oleksandr Tkachenko stated in his telegram channel that the Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra allegedly “was closed to Ukrainians for a very long time,” but now the ministry is saturating it with Ukrainian concepts that have been there “from the very beginning of its creation.” According to the minister, "The Lavra is becoming Ukrainian."
Tkachenko also reported on the achievements of the ministry in the Lavra over the past 3 months. According to him, they are:
- resumption of access to the Lavra bell tower;
- the opening of the Economic Gate and the passage from the Upper to the Lower Lavra;
- “development and approval of the procedure for granting access to the Assumption Cathedral and the Refectory Church regarding the funeral of the fallen defenders of Ukraine”;
- selling tickets to the Lavra online;
- development of three "powerful" digital projects;
- holding a choral concert in the Refectory Church.
Earlier, the UOJ wrote that according to MP Artem Dmytruk, Tkachenko's actions on the Lavra are incompetent and barbarous.
