Prayer for non-interference in the Church affairs in front of Rada – LIVE
Thousands of UOC believers are praying for the authorities' non-interference in the affairs of the Church in front of the Verkhovna Rada.
About 500 people have gathered near the cross in Mariinsky Park in front of the parliament building. Their number is gradually increasing. The UOC believers are reading the akathist "The Indestructible Wall" in front of the Verkhovna Rada to protest against government’s interference in the internal affairs of the Church. 1Kozak.tv is broadcasting the event live.
As the UOJ reported, on December 14, 2018, at the walls of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, the All-Ukrainian civil discussion “On unconstitutional actions of state power” will end up with a meeting of representatives from each constituency and a vote for the “Consolidated Declaration of Resistance to Oppression”.
