Clergy of the Romanian Church came to the Krasnoilsk Monastery for the Transfiguration
On the feast of the Transfiguration of the Lord, clergy and monastics of the Romanian Orthodox Church came to the Krasnoilsk monastery of the UOC.
On August 19, at the Krasnoilsk women's monastery of the UOC "Slatina," the feast of the Transfiguration of the Lord was celebrated with an archiepiscopal Liturgy attended by clergy and monastics of the Romanian Orthodox Church. This was reported by a correspondent of the UOJ.
The Divine Liturgy in the central church of the monastery was led by Metropolitan Serhiy of Ternopil and Kremenets. He was co-served by the builder of the monastery, Mitred Archpriest Pavlo Pavlenko, clergy of the UOC, and guests in holy orders from Romania.
To share the joy of the patronal feast with the abbess of the monastery, Abbess Ioanna, abbesses and nuns from monasteries of the Romanian Orthodox Church also came.
During the Liturgy, the clergy and faithful prayed for peace on Ukrainian soil, for deliverance from the enemy, for people who have lost their homes, and for those who help those in need.
After the service, Metropolitan Serhiy congratulated the abbess, clergy, and faithful on the Transfiguration of the Lord and delivered a sermon. At the conclusion, His Eminence blessed grapes, apples, and other fruits.
Earlier, the UOJ reported that the clergy of the UOC and the Romanian Orthodox Church celebrated the patronal feast of the monastery in Kolenkovtsy.
