Graduation of choir directors took place at the Tikhvin Monastery in Dnipro
On the day of the monastery's patronal feast, graduates received their diplomas upon completion of their studies.
Metropolitan Irenaeus of Dnipropetrovsk and Pavlohrad presented diplomas to graduates of the choir director and catechist school in Dnipro. This was reported by the UOC Information Center.
The solemn ceremony took place on July 9, 2026, at the Holy Tikhvin Convent following the Divine Liturgy celebrated in honor of the Tikhvin Icon of the Mother of God.
In addition to the documents certifying completion of the theological school, the UOC hierarch presented certificates of blessing to the most distinguished students of the institution. The festive day united the spiritual joy of the patronal feast with the achievements of the school's graduates.
In his congratulatory address, His Eminence Irenaeus emphasized the particular significance of receiving a church education in these difficult times. The archpastor wished the graduates wisdom, steadfastness in faith, and zealous service to God and their neighbors.
The diploma ceremony became the concluding moment of the festive service, uniting spiritual joy with the joy of academic achievement. In response, the young specialists expressed their gratitude to the Metropolitan for his fatherly care, and to their teachers for the knowledge imparted and the spiritual support provided.
