Vicar of the Khust Diocese Consecrated a New Chapel in the Settlement of Yasinya

Bishop Mark of Rakhiv performed the rite of consecration of the chapel and thanked all benefactors for their assistance.

Bishop Mark of Rakhiv performed the rite of consecration of the chapel in honor of Saint Nicholas the Wonderworker in the Transcarpathian settlement of Yasinya. This was reported by the Khust Diocese on Facebook.

The rite of consecration took place on July 7, 2026, by the blessing of Metropolitan Mark of Khust and Vynohradiv. During the consecration, the hierarch and the faithful offered fervent prayers for peace in Ukraine, as well as for its defenders.

In addition, the participants of the service prayed for the residents of the settlement and all the benefactors who labored in the construction and beautification of the new shrine.

As the Union of Orthodox Journalists reported, a UOC chapel in honor of Spyridon of Trimythous was consecrated in the village of Olkhovtsy.
