Monastic tonsure performed at the Ascension Monastery in Mlyniv
Two nuns of the women's monastery of the Rivne Diocese of the UOC have taken monastic vows.
A monastic tonsure took place at the Ascension Women's Monastery in the town of Mlyniv, Rivne region. This was reported by the Horodok St. Nicholas Monastery on Facebook.
The rite of tonsure was performed by Metropolitan Pimen of Rivne and Ostroh. During the divine service, two nuns of the monastery received the angelic image, dedicating their lives to God, prayer, and monastic endeavor.
In monasticism, the sisters received the names Nadezhda and Lyubov.
As the UOJ previously reported, a monastic tonsure was performed in the Khust Diocese.
