A member of parliament from 'European Solidarity' claimed that participants in prayer processions are allegedly completely devoid of critical thinking skills.

Ukrainian Member of Parliament Mykola Knyazhytsky, on the air of the project "Algorithms of Lies", expressed the opinion that believers of the canonical Church blindly follow their leaders and unquestioningly carry out any instructions.

"For parishioners of the Russian church, the priest is a guru, a God. Whatever he says, that is what must be done. In fact, they are built within a system of sects," the politician claims, referring to the UOC as the Russian church. The MP paid special attention to participants in religious processions, calling them people "rejected from Ukrainian society."

"We often see these people in headscarves walking in so-called religious processions through the centers of Ukrainian cities. These are people who are being taught not to think critically," Knyazhytsky added. He also put forward the thesis that UOC clergy "very often are FSB agents or persons connected to them."

In the deputy's opinion, it is precisely this "sectarian" hierarchical structure that allows the Church to maintain its network and influence in Ukraine. He emphasized that the UOC has "permeated all of Ukrainian society," which allegedly poses a threat to national security.

As the SPZh reported, the organizers of the religious procession to the Banchensky Monastery were fined.
