A church of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church has been destroyed on the border of Dnipropetrovsk and Donetsk regions.

As a result of a Russian drone attack, the Dormition Church of the UOC in the village of Mezhova, Synelnykove district, Dnipropetrovsk region, was destroyed. This was reported by the press service of the Dnipropetrovsk Eparchy.

According to the dean of the Mezhova church district, Archpriest Heorgiy Serhienko, the church building was completely burned down.

A fire broke out in the church following the strike, destroying its interior furnishings and structural elements.

Information about any casualties has not been specified. The diocese noted that the Dormition Church is located on the border between the Dnipropetrovsk and Donetsk regions.

As the UOJ reported, a UOC church in Kharkiv was damaged by shelling.
