Yermak consults fortune teller before important appointments, prosecutor says
Private correspondence with a fortune teller was found with the former head of the President's Office, in which he coordinated personnel decisions.
Former head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Andriy Yermak consulted a fortune teller regarding personnel decisions. This was stated by a prosecutor of the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office (SAPO) during a hearing at the High Anti-Corruption Court (HACC) on May 12, 2026.
According to the prosecution's version, the case materials contain evidence that the official discussed appointments to government positions with a person who provided magical or occult services. Prosecutors claim that dialogues with a fortune teller to coordinate certain personnel decisions were found in the defendant's private correspondence.
"He consulted on the matter of appointing the Minister of Health, as well as on the appointment of Deputy Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine for law enforcement agencies Oleh Yuryevich Tatarov... Such advice he sought... After this, Tatarov was appointed to the position in August 2020," the prosecutor reported.
As the UOJ wrote, earlier Zelensky's ex-press secretary Yulia Mendel published a detailed material with accusations against Andriy Yermak, claiming that he practices magical rituals and resorts to the services of magicians.
