Ukraine’s Chief Rabbi: The time has come to build the Third Temple
The spiritual leader of Ukraine’s Jewish community commented on Tucker Carlson’s claims about the religious motives behind the war in the Middle East.
Ukraine’s Chief Rabbi Moshe Reuven Asman responded on Facebook to claims by American journalist Tucker Carlson about preparations to rebuild the Third Jewish Temple in Jerusalem. In his view, if even fierce critics have begun speaking about this mission, then the time for its fulfillment has truly come.
Commenting on Carlson’s remarks, the Jewish leader sarcastically described him as an anti-Semite, a Ukrainophobe, and a “new prophet.” He said the journalist had in effect acknowledged the mission of the Jewish people to restore the shrine. According to Asman, when opponents begin repeating the words of the prophets, it is a sign that the time has come for those words to be fulfilled.
Earlier, Tucker Carlson said on his program that the goal of the war with Iran was the rebuilding of the Third Temple in Jerusalem.
