TRC staff abducts rector of UOC’s Alexander Nevsky Church in the capital
In Kyiv, the TRC detained Archpriest Yaroslav Kruhlenko.
At around 5:00 p.m. in Kyiv, TRC staff abducted Archpriest Yaroslav Kruhlenko, rector of the UOC’s Alexander Nevsky Church, his wife told UOJ.
According to her, the clergyman was detained on Poliarna Street, near the Leroy Merlin store. He was taken to the TRC at 26 Yordanska Street, where he was held without any possibility of contacting his family.
Later, as reported, Archpriest Yaroslav was transferred to Kyiv’s Darnytskyi District. There was no contact with him until midnight. At around 12:00 a.m., he managed to call his wife and briefly said that they planned to send him to Dnipro overnight.
At present, there is no contact with the priest. His exact whereabouts are unknown to the family.
As the UOJ previously reported, the TRC abducted an archpriest of the UOC’s Archangel Michael Church in Horodyshche.
