In USA, transgender shoots three people at school hockey game
During a school hockey match in the USA, a trans opened fire: three people died, several were wounded. The attacker committed suicide.
On February 16, 2026, in the city of Pawtucket (USA), a shooting occurred during a hockey game at a high school, resulting in three deaths and several others sustaining serious injuries. The identity of the attacker has been established, reports New York Post.
According to police, the gunfire was opened by 56-year-old Robert Dorgan, born male. In 2020, he underwent gender reassignment surgery, after which he began positioning himself as a transgender woman and used the name Roberta Esposito. After the attack, the shooter committed suicide.
Court documents indicate that his gender identity change became one of the factors in prolonged family conflicts and divorce proceedings. In the initial divorce petition, the reasons cited included gender reassignment surgery and psychological disorders, later the wording was changed to "irreconcilable differences." Police called what happened a violent culmination of a years-long domestic dispute.
Also, an account presumably belonging to Dorgan was discovered on social network X, where numerous provocative and radical statements were published. The investigation continues to establish all circumstances of the tragedy.
Earlier, the UOJ wrote that in US prisons, transgenders are massively assaulting female inmates.
