Kyiv funeral agency bans UOC priests from performing funeral services
At the “Omega” agency, funeral services conducted by UOC clergy are “categorically prohibited.”
In Kyiv, the funeral agency “Omega” has banned funeral services conducted by priests of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church. The corresponding photo was posted on social media by blogger Myroslava Berdnyk.
The photograph shows the agency’s entrance doors with a notice that reads:
“In the premises of the ‘Omega’ funeral home, it is CATEGORICALLY PROHIBITED!!! for a priest of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church (Moscow Patriarchate) to perform the funeral service. Glory to Ukraine!!!”
Earlier, the UOJ reported that a bicycle repair shop in Kamianets-Podilskyi refused to provide service to parishioners of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church.
