Cleric of the Drohobych-Sambir Eparchy of the OCU Roman Hladkyi, the rector of the Dormition of the Most Holy Theotokos parish, was involved in a triple car accident in the village of Bartativ, Lviv region, in which a local resident died. This was reported by ZAXID.NET.

According to the media, the cleric of Dumenko's structure was driving a BMW X5. As a result of entering the oncoming lane during an overtaking maneuver, he collided with a "Ravon" car, whose driver, a 33-year-old father of three, died at the scene. An examination revealed 1.5 per mille of alcohol in Roman Hladkyi's blood.

The police confirmed that the "clergyman" was driving the car while intoxicated. The Lviv region court chose a preventive measure for him in the form of detention without the right to bail. The investigation continues under Article 286-1 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, which provides for up to ten years of imprisonment.

As reported by the UOJ, the OCU suspended a "hierarch" who sold priest certificates to draft dodgers.
