Imposing LGBT ideology is a war against God – Greek abbot
Abbot Dositheos stated that modern society has surpassed Sodom and Gomorrah, and that LGBT propaganda promotes spiritual degradation.
The abbot of the Agia Skepi Monastery of the Metropolis of Sidirokastro of the Church of Greece, Dositheos, said in an interview with the UOJ that the modern world is rapidly approaching the era of the Antichrist, and that the imposition of LGBT ideology is one of the signs of the coming end times.
According to Fr. Dositheos, the world is hastening toward the times foretold by Christ. He reminded that the Gospel says: “You did not receive Me, but you will receive another” – and this “other,” he noted, is the Antichrist. The Church has spoken of this for two thousand years, and the abbot sees many signs that these prophecies are being fulfilled.
He emphasized that today’s state of society recalls the times of Noah and Sodom, as described by the holy fathers. “Back then, at least, there were no laws supporting homosexuality,” he said. “Each person had his weakness, his sin – but they were ashamed of it, they did not flaunt it. Today sin has become fashionable, and that is especially frightening.”
The elder expressed particular concern about the imposition of LGBT ideology through the education system. In schools, children are taught that homosexuality is normal and even a sign of progress. “This is a direct war against God,” Dositheos stressed. “The Apostle Paul clearly says that homosexuals will not inherit the Kingdom of Heaven.”
The elder expressed his conviction that humanity already stands at the threshold of the last times, and that the only path to salvation lies in repentance and a return to spiritual roots. “If we do not repent, if we do not return to God – woe to us. Repentance opens the door to paradise and unites man with God. Our roots are Orthodoxy,” concluded Abbot Dositheos.
Earlier, the UOJ reported that the Greek abbot had warned that under the guise of integration, globalists seek to impose a universal religion on humanity.
