In Drabiv, Cherkasy region, church medical center consecrated
The center will treat low-income people.
On November 2, 2025, in the village of Drabiv, Cherkasy Eparchy, UOC Bishop Antony of Korsun-Shevchenkivskyi consecrated a charitable church medical center and performed the Divine Liturgy, as reported by the press service of the Cherkasy Eparchy.
Bishop Antony, together with the center's director, Matushka Olga Ivanusa, cut the red ribbon, after which the bishop performed a prayer service, consecrated all the institution's offices, and blessed all the staff. This medical center will treat low-income people.
After the consecration, the bishop, together with the clergy of the eparchy, performed the Divine Liturgy, during which they offered fervent prayers for the Church undergoing persecution.
Participating in the joint prayer was the abbess of Krasnohirskyi Convent, nun Arsenia, with the sisters.
During the celebrations, the bishop congratulated the founder of the medical center and the dean of the Drabiv district, Archpriest Dmytro Ivanusa, on his 50th birthday.
For his many years of service to the Church, including in the medical field, Bishop Antony awarded Father Dmytro the UOC Order of St. Agapitus of the Caves, I degree.
As reported by the UOJ, in Kropyvnytskyi, the UOC parish prepared about 30,000 charitable meals.
