New UOC church consecrated in Krasnopavlivka, Kharkiv Eparchy
The consecration was led by Metropolitan Onufriy of Kharkiv and Bohodukhiv.
On October 28, 2025, a new church of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church dedicated to the Ascension of the Lord was consecrated in the village of Krasnopavlivka, Lozova District, Kharkiv Region, according to the press service of the Kharkiv Eparchy.
The rite of Great Consecration and the Divine Liturgy were celebrated by Metropolitan Onufriy of Kharkiv and Bohodukhiv.
During the service, prayers were offered for peace in Ukraine, for deliverance from the enemy, for the soldiers, for those who have lost their homes, and for all who help the Ukrainian people.
At the end of the Liturgy, Metropolitan Onufriy congratulated the parish rector, Archpriest Yaroslav Sushniak, the clergy, and the parishioners on the feast day and addressed them with an archpastoral message.
For their zealous service to the Church, the hierarch also awarded the rector and benefactors of the new church with ecclesiastical honors.
Earlier, the UOJ reported that Metropolitan Onufriy of Kharkiv had consecrated another new UOC church in the village of Manchenky.
