The chapel was built by the parishioners of the UOC church and concerned residents of the village of Kosharo-Oleksandrivka in the Kirovohrad region.

On September 18, 2025, believers of the UOC from three regions held a religious procession from the church in the village of Lupolovo to the chapel built by the parishioners of the church and concerned residents of the village of Kosharо-Оleksandrivka in the Kirovohrad region. This was reported by the press service of the Kirovohrad Eparchy.

"During the Soviet era, the Church of the Kazan Icon of the Mother of God was destroyed in that village. Almost 70 years later, a chapel was built in honor of the Kazan and Peschanskaya icons of the Mother of God," the message says.

Believers from the surrounding villages of the Kirovohrad, Odessa, and Mykolaiv regions participated in the cross procession.

As reported by the UOJ, on September 13, 2025, a cross procession to the Derman Monastery took place in the Rivne diocese.
