Two children aged 8 and 10 died; 17 people were injured, including 14 children, two of whom are in critical condition.

An armed transgender individual killed two children and injured 17 others by shooting during a morning mass at a Catholic school in Minneapolis in the USA, reports Reuters.

According to officials, the attacker, around 20 years old, fired dozens of shots into the church windows before taking their own life.

They stated that the shooter was armed with a rifle, a shotgun, and a handgun.

As reported by American media, the killer's name after gender transition is Robin Westman. On their weapons, which they photographed before the attack, were inscriptions such as "6 million (Jews killed in the Holocaust) is not enough," "Israel must fall," and a call to kill President Trump.

The shooting occurred two days after the start of classes at the Annunciation Catholic School, a private elementary school with about 395 students affiliated with the Roman Catholic Church.

According to police, since Tuesday, there have been three more shooting incidents in this Midwestern city, including at a Jesuit high school. These events resulted in three deaths and seven injuries.

Police Chief Brian O'Hara stated that the shooting on Wednesday appears to be unrelated to the other incidents.

President of the USA Donald Trump responded to the tragedy: "I have been fully briefed on the tragic shooting in Minneapolis, Minnesota. The FBI quickly responded and they are on the scene. The White House will continue to monitor this terrible situation."

As reported by the UOJ, in the USA, a man was sentenced to 60 years for threatening a pastor during a service.
