UOC refutes fake news on awarding former Moldovan President by His Beatitude
The chancery of the Metropolia stated that the information about the award is false.
According to the UOC press service, the reports circulating in the media about former Moldovan President Igor Dodon being awarded by His Beatitude Metropolitan Onuphry are untrue.
“His Beatitude Metropolitan Onuphry of Kyiv and All Ukraine has not issued any decrees regarding such an award. In the register of awards of the Kyiv Metropolia, no resolution concerning the mentioned award exists,” the chancery of the Kyiv Metropolia reported.
Earlier, the UOJ wrote that the Khust eparchy had also refuted a fake news story about receiving a bell from Russia.
