The service was led by Metropolitan Gabriel of Lovech from the Bulgarian Orthodox Church.

On August 18, 2025, on the eve of the Feast of the Lord's Transfiguration, which is the patronal feast in the Transfiguration Skete belonging to the Bancheny Monastery, an all-night vigil was held at the main church of the monastery. This is reported on the Facebook page of the Chernivtsi-Bukovyna Eparchy of the UOC.

The service was led by Metropolitan Gabriel of Lovech of the Bulgarian Orthodox Church. He was concelebrated by the hierarchs of the Ukrainian and Bulgarian Orthodox Churches, the clergy of the Chernivtsi-Bukovyna Eparchy and guests in holy orders. The vigil took place in the main cathedral of the monastery.

The Skete of the Transfiguration of the Lord is closed: only the residents of the Ascension Monastery have access to it. However, once a year, on the day of the patronal feast of the Transfiguration of the Lord, all those wishing to pray are allowed onto its territory.

The Skete opens the evening before the start of the service and remains accessible all night and the entire following day – on the very feast of the Lord's Transfiguration. During these days, believers have the opportunity to venerate the holy relics of the monastery.

Earlier, the UOJ wrote that the head of the Polish Church congratulated the Primate of the UOC on the anniversary of his enthronement.
