Metropolitan of Montenegro greets UOC Primate on 11th anniversary of enthronement

"We pray for you, support you, and wish you strength from the Lord to worthily endure all trials," wished Metropolitan Joanikije.
“In this special time of trials for the Ukrainian Orthodox Church, You have taken upon Yourself the cross of primatial service and carry it with dignity, showing the faithful an example of humility, steadfastness in faith, hope in God, and pastoral love.” This is stated in the congratulation from Metropolitan Joanikije (Micovic) of Montenegro and the Littoral to His Beatitude Metropolitan Onuphry on the eleventh anniversary of his enthronement, reports the UOC Information and Enlightenment Department.
Metropolitan Joanikije recalled the words of the Lord: "Be faithful until death, and I will give you the crown of life" (Rev. 2:10), given as a promise to everyone who faithfully labors in the Lord's field.
"We pray for you, support you, and wish you grace and strength from the Lord to worthily endure all the trials that befall the Ukrainian Orthodox Church entrusted to you," noted Metropolitan Joanikije.
The Vladyka wished that the Lord would strengthen the Primate of the UOC in health, grant wisdom and spiritual resilience, and that under his archpastoral leadership, the Church of Christ would grow in unity and piety.
As reported by the UOJ, the Primate of the UOC was congratulated on the 11th anniversary of his enthronement by the Serbian Patriarch, the Primate of the Polish Church, the head of the Macedonian Church, the Metropolitan of Eastern America and New York, the First Hierarch of the Russian Church Abroad.
