Cabinet of Ministers appoints acting Minister of Culture

Tetiana Berezhna has been appointed the acting Minister of Culture.
On July 28, 2025, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine appointed Tetiana Berezhna as acting Minister of Culture and Strategic Communications, reports Prime Minister Yulia Svyrydenko.
Svyrydenko called Berezhna "an experienced manager with a strong background in public policy, international projects, and partner relations".
"The main task is to secure funding for Ukrainian culture during wartime," Svyrydenko stated. According to her, "the government also plans to separate information policy and strategic communications into a distinct direction with a clear mandate and resources."
"This will allow focused work on the country's information resilience. Cultural policy needs new momentum," emphasized the head of the Cabinet.
Berezhna comes from the Ivano-Frankivsk region and is 36 years old. She has a legal education and studied in the UK and Canada. Since 2022, she has served as Deputy Minister of Economy.
Berezhna is a Greek Catholic. On social media, she named the abbot of the Univ Lavra of the Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church as her spiritual advisor.
Earlier, the UOJ reported that the government dismissed Tochytskyi from the post of Minister of Culture.
