Prytula jokes about “Jesus Josephovych” as Ukraine’s Defense Minister

The politician jokingly claimed that Ukrainians are so suspicious they would accuse even Christ of corruption.
Ukrainian politician and showman Serhiy Prytula made a controversial joke during an interview with Bihus.info, employing humor of questionable taste.
Commenting on the tenure of Rustem Umerov as Minister of Defense and the ongoing corruption scandals in the ministry, Prytula claimed that today’s suspicious Ukrainians wouldn’t be satisfied even if Christ Himself held the post.
“Right now, if Jesus Josephovych Christ took the position of Minister of Defense, people would still say: ‘Listen, something’s off there with Judas, he sold something for 30 pieces of silver. There was definitely some kind of kickback built into that – something’s just not right,’” the politician said.
Earlier, the UOJ reported that Prytula had called on atheists to support the OCU’s Tomos.
