Head of Kyiv Reserve announces "disappearance" of UOC churches in Podil

Malenkov stated that after the DESS “research” on the ties between the UOC Kyiv Metropolis and the ROC, it is time to take away temples from the Church in Kyiv.
Roman Malenkov, director of the Kyiv National Reserve "Ancient Kyiv", published the results of the DESS “research” on the UOC-ROC connection on his Facebook page and announced the expropriation of UOC churches within the Reserve under his supervision.
“On the territory of the State Historical and Architectural Reserve Ancient Kyiv, there are three uoc-mp (sic) churches and two large monasteries. St. Elijah's and the Holy Cross Churches are unique landmarks, but the monasteries, with many dozens of buildings in the heart of the Ukrainian capital, are quite something. The Intercession (Monastery – Ed.) has the largest Orthodox church in Kyiv, and Florivsky (Ascension Convent – Ed.), located near a strategic object of Ukraine, could be a source of information for Russia. And what they’ve built there, how many laws they’ve broken – it’s countless,” Malenkov wrote, adding that “we will start”.
“The uoc-mp (sic) must disappear, at least within the Reserve,” the official added.
It should be noted that until the court decision, the Reserve has no right to “start” any actions.
Earlier, the UOJ wrote that DESS detected an affiliation between the Kyiv Metropolis of the UOC and the ROC.
